Jamnagari Bandhani is used by both Hindus & Muslims for ceremonial & daily wear. This ancient dyeing technique involves tying fabric in unique patterns to prevent dye penetration, creating different, vibrant designs with the help of nails, beads or grain, which prevents the color from seep ing into the tied areas during dyeing. The technique has been so perfected that the most intricate patterns emerge in discharge, with vibrant backgrounds. Characterized by its tiny knots known as “Bheendi” & manual production process.
