Jalgaon Banana is a high-yielding tropical fruit cultivated in the irrigated belt of Khandesh, Maha rashtra. Known for its sweet taste, soft pulp, and curved fingers, it is primarily grown using Dwarf Cavendish varieties like Basrai, Shrimanti, and Grand Naine. Jalgaon contributes 16% of India’s banana production and is recognized as the “Banana Capital of India.”
