Gamosa, derived from Sanskrit, is a traditional Assamese cloth used for bathing, rituals, and adorn ment. Measuring 1.30–1.85 m in length and 60–85 cm in width, it features red borders from the Anchu plant. With motifs like “sotia,” “pooh,” and “Ichioni,” red symbolizes bravery and cultural pride.
