Hupari Silver Craft, originating in 1912 from Hupari town in Kolhapur district, Maharashtra, is a renowned tradition of handmade silver jewellery. With over 25,000 people engaged in the industry, including 10,000 skilled artisans, Hupari produces ornaments such as payals, challe, kaddore, and the unique seamless silver balls (ghungroos). These products are in high demand across India, espe cially during festivals like Ganesh Chaturthi, Dussehra, and Diwali.
