Sujini embroidery of Bihar is a traditional craft practiced by women, producing bedspreads, wall hangings, cushion covers, saris, dupattas, kurtas, and jackets. Designs narrate village life, Hindu epics, and contemporary issues like education and health. Executed on cream markeen, casement, or tussar silk, motifs are outlined in chain stitch and filled with fine running stitches, creating rippling textured patterns.
