Banaras Tirangi Barfi is a three-layered milk-based sweet from Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, symbolizing the Indian tricolor. Made from khoa, sugar, and dry fruits, it features saffron, white, and green layers representing National Flag. It is especially popular during Independence Day, Republic Day and religious festivals.
